Hi, I'm Renee  I design with intention.
I'm a Design and Environmental Analysis student at Cornell University, minoring in Information Science with a concentration in User Experience Design, and Entrepreneurship. My strong foundation in design started with my simple love for arts and crafts. Now, I find joy in shaping all sorts of design frameworks, whether it's crafting efficient morning routines or arranging my living space layout for maximum productivity. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, I'm always envisioning ways to make improvements through design.
As a current Product Designer at Cornell Digital Tech & Innovation and a Research Assistant at Design User Experience Technology (D.U.E.T.) Lab, I'm passionate about making a difference in the intersection of design, technology, and human interaction.
My highly intentional and detail-oriented design mindset always starts with understanding users. I make sure there is a reason behind every design choice I make. And while I appreciate the structure and organization of the popular "Double Diamond" design approach, I believe that the best design come from nonlinear processes that involve constant reflection, seeking new insights, and experimenting with different methodologies.
When I’m not designing, you might find me teaching at the ice rink, trying a new brunch spot, or endlessly searching for the perfect font. Reach out to me at rcd239@cornell.edu!
